Men’s Knitting Retreat-Cruise/Land Tours
Since we first started gathering yarn-enthusiastic men at these retreats, there have been constant requests to do destination-based retreats. The guys wanted land tours and/or cruise-based retreats to popular destinations. With the creation of the Men’s Knitting Retreat – Cruise/Land Tours we have seen our community grow in both numbers and excitement. So far we’ve explored:
- 2026 – Fall Foliage New England Cruise (still taking reservations)
- Dates: Sunday, October 4 – Sunday, October 11, 2026
- Description: 7-Night Canada and New England: Bar Harbor and Halifax (Boston Roundtrip)
- 2025 — Scotland & Shetland Islands Knitting Tour
- Dates: Friday, October 10 – Sunday, October 19, 2025
- Description: A 10-day knitting tour through Scotland and the Shetland Islands — the historic heartland of Fair Isle knitting and British wool traditions.
- 2024 — Alaska Sea Cruise
- Dates: Sunday, September 8 – Sunday, September 15, 2024
- Description: A week-long knitting cruise on the Norwegian Encore out of Seattle — Glacier Bay, Skagway, and Juneau through the Inside Passage. Social knitting on deck, workshops at sea, and Alaska’s glaciers and wildlife as the backdrop.
A Men’s Knitting Retreat Iceland tour is confirmed for June 18-27, 2027 during the Summer Solstice.
