    Basic Brioche

The plain brioche stitch produces a reversible fabric that doesn’t curl. It’s a great stitch to use for making scarves. This workshop will teach the plain brioche stitch and a three-color variation. Other topics include selvedge stitches for brioche, how to read your work, and casting on and binding off for brioche stitch.

If you can slip a stitch purl-wise, make a yarn over, and knit two together you have the skills necessary for working the plain brioche stitch.
