NorthEast Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat – Upstate NY
The annual NorthEast Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat takes place at Easton Mountain, in Greenwich, NY. It typically takes place over the third weekend in September each year. The retreat officially starts on Thursday afternoon and ends after lunch on Sunday. The retreat is open to any man, age 21 or over who cares to enjoy the community of fiber-enthusiasts (knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners, tatters, etc.).

Registration fees for the NorthEast Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat includes:
- Nine meals (starting with dinner on Thursday evening and ending with lunch on Sunday afternoon)
- Lodging in different accommodation options
- Participation in retreat activities except entrance fee to the Adirondack Fiber Arts Festival and outside purchases)
The retreat rents the entire property for the duration of the retreat, so other than staff and volunteers of Easton Mountain, we are the only people on premises. We use gathering places such as the great room, front porch, the temple, the sun porch, and the back deck for social stitching, workshops and impromptu tutoring sessions.

Amenities of the retreat center include a hot tub, hiking trails, a pool, and a nightly wood-burning sauna.
Registration
Registration typically opens on the second Saturday of May at 11:00 am (Eastern U.S./Canadian time).
The Fall retreat has been getting more and more popular each year, so to make sure you get the room type you’d like, it’s best to register as soon as registration opens. Get notified about the retreat registration opening by signing up to be notified.
