Scott Ettinger –
The retreat was a delight and the accommodations were good: a decent mattress; clean, carpeted room; good food (especially the desserts); candlelit octagonal wood-fired sauna to roast away any shoulder-tension from needlework : ) . The retreat itself was low key and high enjoyment: getting to hang out with other knitters and crocheters, learn from them, see some amazing handiwork, and just chat—sometimes light, sometimes heavier.
