This tour will take us to the beautiful South and West of Iceland with breathtaking landscape. June is the month for flowers and busy bird life and it is daylight all night long. Hélène will tell us about the Icelandic knitting traditions with a focus on the youngest of them all, the famous Icelandic lopi sweater. We will meet with many local crafters, spinners, dyers, for an unforgettable insight into the Icelandic culture and knitting heritage. This trip includes optional short hikes and participants will have the opportunity to explore and take small walks where we will be staying. Accommodation in comfortable guesthouses, one of them with an outdoor hot tub.
